Functions of the Fastime 7 include:
- Triple-Row Digital Display: Simultaneously view cumulative split time, lap split time, and cumulative running time without stopping the clock.
- 100-Lap Memory: Stores up to 100 individual split and cumulative times, with a dedicated recall function to identify your fastest and slowest laps.
- Specialised Coaching Tools:
- Stroke Rate Mode: Calculates the frequency of actions (such as swimming strokes or rowing pulls) per minute based on a 3-event sample.
- Speed Conversion: Automatically calculates speed in mph or kph once a set distance is entered.
- Pacer Function: Adjustable metronome (5 to 240 beeps per minute) to help athletes maintain a consistent rhythm.
- Versatile Timing Modes: Includes a repeating countdown/up timer that beeps upon reaching zero and automatically restarts.
