Making sure that your Cricket Bat and Pads are the right size is vital. Here are some guidelines to help you.
Cricket Bats
- Size 1 - Up to 4ft 3ins
- Size 2 - 4ft 3ins - 4ft 6ins
- Size 3 - 4ft 6ins - 4ft 9ins
- Size 4 - 4ft 9ins - 4ft 11ins
- Size 5 - 4ft 11ins - 5ft 2ins
- Size 6 - 5ft 2ins - 5ft 4ins
- Harrow - 5ft 4ins - 5ft 6ins
- Short Handle - 5ft 8ins & over.
Batting Pad Sizes
A measurement should be taken from the top of the front of the foot (on which the pad sits) and the middle of the knee cap. This should give you a guide as to the most appropriate sized batting pad.
- Small Boys - 27-31cm
- Boys - 32-35cm
- Youths - 36-38cm
- Mens - 39-43cm
