One of the oldest clubs in English Rugby, Sale Sharks began as Sale FC and only took on ‘Sharks’ in 1999. A huge year for Sale Sharks was 2006 when they made history by being crowned Guinness Premiership Champions getting their first league title whilst also being the first club to top the season’s table and then go onto win the title.
