Martin Berrill

As a young apprentice in 1985 Martin was fortunate to be able to plant some young Willow Trees (Salix Alba Caerulea) in wet and fertile soil which offer the ideal growing conditions for willow to be used for cricket bats.

After years of cultivating Martin was lucky enough to be involved in the felling of the trees to specific requirements and in doing so was able to have the special clefts cut to his precise requirements.

Each cleft was left large and over-sized, allowed to dry naturally and then with input from top international cricketers Martin was able to craft 30 top grade 1 custom willow bats - quite possibly among the best quality cricket bats available in the world today.

They each possess a beautifully balanced feel, superb pick up and sweet spot.

Each bat can be finished to your individual requirements and provide you with the experience of using a modern day international players bat.
